Tamil actor Murali, who has not been seen in films for quite some time, is all set to make a comeback and that too with double impact.

Murali does a double role in Maru Avadharam, which marks the beginning of his second innings in films. Directed by K. Balendhar, Maru Avadharam sees Murali playing a father as well as a son.

It's debutante Visalini who plays the heroine, opposite Murali. Akshaya too does a key role in the film. Maru Avadharam tells the story about the love between a brother and a sister, both children of a very strict father. While Murali plays the son, it is Akshaya who plays the role of his sister. Maru Avadharam features music by Deva.
