Not only was this movie boring, but it made me just want to jump out the window. It was just dreadful. The acting got on my nerves and the story was mediocre to begin with. These 007 movies are pissing me... Full review

This is favorite film af all time. This film was supposed to be Connery's last, but he came back for Diamonds are Forever. Because this was originally going to Connery's last, the movie was jam-packed with everything a 007 film needs.... Full review

MASTER PLAN: foment World War III between the U.S. and Soviet Union by stealing some orbiting space capsules. Bond almost gets into outer space in this one, literally a step away (he'd finally make it in the much later "Moonraker").... Full review

Sean Connery's fifth outing as the popular British agent. I liked this film in some parts, but it seemed like something was missing. I can't seem to put my finger on it, but it just dragged in some parts and took... Full review

It's easy to see why Mike Myers used this film as the primary target for spoof in Austin Powers. It's one of the silliest and most laughable Bond flicks, and a further step down in Connery's series. 007 pretending to be... Full review

Similarly structured to the other superb DVD Bond titles with outstanding features and jammed with information licenced to thrill, You Only Live Twice devotes one special segment to its famous, memorable titles. We get a good feel for the time and place in the documentary, which canvasses the mood of the day, the problems, background to hiring the director and script writer. ... Full Review

The film still works fairly well and provides some fun and thrills - the oversized action wouldn't get truly absurd for another couple of movies - but Twice marks the first clear decline in the Bond franchise. Other than those scenes, however, the movie feels very ordinary. ... Full Review

Whereas most Bond films are content simply to go somewhere beautiful for nice backgrounds, Gilbert really dips the film into the beauty of the Japan.....Anyone who complains that Bond films are too silly and far-fetched shouldn't even bother with 'You Only Live Twice'.....Akiko Wakabayashi as Aki is excellent....is unfortunately is replaced half-way through by the dull Mie Hama as Kissy Suzuki.....although there's no Leiter, Tetsuro Tamba is excellent as Tiger Tanaka head of Japan's secret service..... ... The John Cork documentary is good....You Only Live Twice is an entertaining mess that confirms the Bond producers' wrong turn toward self-mockery.....Director Lewis Gilbert's Alfie is a masterpiece of satiric drama but he seems unsuited to 007 pacing.....Twice was the first Bond which was utterly fantastic at its root, a Science Fiction movie where Bond became an unlikely Buck Rogers.....MGM's DVD of You Only Live Twice is a beauty..... ...
