Review: Women in Trouble is Trouble....Gutierrez is stubborn in his desire for the film to be a comedy;....It shows, as lackluster script collides with dreary visuals in a train wreck made worse by the cinematography and cartoonish editing.....what sexuality is discussed or portrayed in the movie is handled with the lurid detachment of a porn film.....unfortunately, the jokes are not apparent in the first place.... ... Of course, the Marley Shelton-Josh Brolin scenes are funnier....so the scene was more tedious than entertaining.....thought it might be easy to shoot several of them, all with different actresses, to make a good movie quickly.....Some of the more straightforward dramatic scenes, such as Elektra and Doris discussing their futures, seemed more suited to the Lifetime channel.....Once you get used to the anthology structure, you can enjoy the characters' plights..... ...
