Unfortunately White Noise is as comatose as they come, pulling out much of the same tricks The Ring and Poltergeist used to up the scare factor.
Surprisingly enough White Noise keeps you somewhat interested in what happens to both these characters, but the final half-hour of the movie comes apart at the seams, essentially cutting down any momentum the movie built with the audience prior.
