Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. I was going to stick it out until the end, but when other people in the theatre started leaving, I realized it wasn't just me. A waste of time and money.... Full review

Went to see it with my son (11 y.o.) Both of us were disappointed. The movie should not have been advertized as kid's movie since it is for adults, for parents. Besides, I noticed nervousness in my son after the movie... Full review

Boring, slow and pointless. Added nothing to the book. Spike Jonze w/o Charlie Kaufman is not a winning combo. Visually great, but that's about it.... Full review

This book was one of my all-time favorites growing up as a kid. I now wish, they would have left it in book form. The writers I believe, were attempting too make the movie appealing to adults and kids alike. Well,... Full review

What director Spike Jonze created was much more beautiful cinematically, intellectually and emotionally than a simple happy-ending movie could ever be.....Expecting an entirely feel-good, upbeat movie is a mistake.....Records displays incredible talent as Max.....The music captures the excitement and joy of imagination.....Not only does the film successfully capture what it feels like to be young.... ... Needless to say, Where the Wild Things Are succeeds as a discussion piece.....I suspect people will love this movie for the same reasons I hate it.....While I found the film intellectually interesting, I wasn't at all entertained by it.....The cinematography is stunning.....while others will be scratching their heads wondering what happened to the wonderful little fantasy story from their youth..... ...
