Boring Boring Boring... what is this crap? I've seen these stars shine much better in other films. What a waste of talent this film takes them down to. Don't waste your time unless you really have too much time.... Full review

Smart and hilarious. I loved everything about this movie. Loaded cast delivering great performances. Great writing. Plot twists that keep the viewer guessing right up til the end. Woody Harrelson's cameo as the psychotic 'hero' Sergeant Schumann, alone, is worth watching... Full review

Wag the Dog is a movie unrivaled in contemporary cinema. It is bitterlly sarcastic and hilariously funny. Presenting a not altogehter implausible scenario, it harshly ridicules the American political system. It rightly satires the press, as lacking investigative ambition, casting the... Full review

This movie shows the depths of political deception. Ironically, this movie was released just prior to the clinton sex scandal. The strangely frightening thing is that the Clinton sex scandal followed WAS against Serbia, just like in the movie... 5000 civilians... Full review

After a few year's retrospect, its easy to see that this movie's plot is just horrendous. Absolutely nonsensical, the movie just drags and drags and drags finally delivering the audience to absolutely no point.... Full review

An incredible film combining powerful social commentary and extremely comic dialogue. It is probably my favorite film of all time. It makes powerful points about the gullibility of the American electorate and the laziness of the news media without sacrificing it's... Full review

Just Press Play
Though it is a comedy, Wag the Dog is immensely cynical, posing the belief that the American public are a gullible bunch malleable by the media, and that patriotism is nothing but a passing fad. Resonance: Ironically, Wag the Dog is even more relevant than before 10 years later. ... Full Review

Wag the Dog is satire, no question about it -- the wonderful cast positively revels in the absurdness of it all. And it's because so many people think that way that Wag the Dog (starring Dustin Hoffman , Robert DeNiro , Anne Heche ) is so scarily plausible. ... Full Review

This quickly shot, relatively small-budget (considering the fact that it features two of the world's top movie actors) film is a cynic's delight, a trenchant and timely social comedy that frequently recalls the best of Dr. Strangelove. As a cautionary tale, Wag the Dog may find itself somewhat in the position of preaching to the converted, but the pews will radiate with the sounds of laughter. ... Full Review
