It's appropriate that Candice Bergen has the mother superior role in View From The Top.
You can see her character's payoff a mile away but it's still something to enjoy.

That movie managed to be outrageous, silly and funny at the same time.
Mike Myers plays the instructor at flight attendants' school with a lazy eye and a zaniness that recalls the Austin Powers movies.

The movie is supposed to be about Donna's late-blooming coming-of-age in the high-flying environs of flight attending, but it's actually about little at all, the script being bereft of wit or depth.

We never feel assaulted or corraled by the movie's humor.
Barreto adds some nice fillips to the story.
