Yesterday I went for Vettaikaaran movie and returned with lots of pain... There is nothing difference in this movie compared to Vijays previous ones. The same kind of dressings, same dialogue... same kind of (comedy) punches, same kind of jumpings from falls :).... really i wasted 3 hours and 100 ruppess in my life by watching this movie. If anybody go to watch this movie, then please kindly insure your life please.......

The movie has grossly failed to entertain....Vijay looks charming and emotes well but he has nothing new to offer....The movie, however, fails to live up to expectations even as a commercial flick....The cliched scenes don't help either.....Gopinath does a neat work with his camera but music director Vijay Antony fails to impress..... ... Vettaikaran' exactly savors to the tastes for the ardent fans of actor Vijay.....For those critically disappointed with Vijay's previous films 'Kuruvi' and 'Ghilli', there's something great to rejoice.....But, it's a worth watching the film only....On whole, 'Vettaikaran' could've been be a better fare....Vijay's laudable performance adds more strength to the film thereby diminishing the flimsy narrative in second half..... ... B4 i start comment, let me clear up that i am fan of Tamil Film industry, not to any particular actor/actress. As a 'Vijay-die-hard-fan' point of view, this movie is GREAT! As a 'out-of-box' point of view, there's nothing different on story line. Same old story.... love at first sight... silly comedy... fight stunts... sentiment... mixed masala... song and dance. To tamil movie makers out there, please go to higher level of thinking. Get actors for story, not to write one for them. And for die hard fans, please think for a moment. You may admire him, but please 'worship' him. Your parents a much worth. Thanks
