Valiant Weak

Valiant had a weak story, so it was just okay. It is obviously nowhere near as good as animated movies like The Polar Express or Finding Nemo, but kids will still like it.... Full review
The Critics are Weirdos

This movie was excellent. I think it should be rated PG, though. I don't see what the problem is. Maybe the critics just don't like having pigeons fighting falcons in WW2. Whatever the reason, don't listen to them! You'll love this... Full review
No Pixar

I felt awkward knowing that this is not a Pixar movie and that they managed to get this released, not to mention that the film could have been funnier without to much Brit humor, but I'm sure there will be kids... Full review

It's all British or German, yes, no American speaking people, and fart jokes are rather tiring, whereas is "ooh-la-la", but I'll admit, I laughed once or twice. Like many say, it's no Chicken Run, but it is sure to make someone... Full review

Absolutely Beautiful Visuals, But Story Needed More Humor

I can see where this Disney animated feature film really never made it big-time. It offers some really good things but overall, it just isn't funny enough to be a hit.It certainly has the visuals to be a smash. Man,... Full review

It was the worst movie I ever saw. I absolutely hated it! The movie was annoying, and it took forever to end. I regret wasting money to go see it. I hope that no one else ever makes the same mistake.... Full review

Good/wholesome movie for families

msuhartdoc - yahoo.com
This movie is not a classic, like "Nemo","Toy Story", or "Monster's Inc", but it's still entertaining. There's not much character development, and the film is rather short, and thus, probably will be quickly forgotten (a la "Home on the Range). However,... Full review

Killer Movie Reviews
Sight gags abound, too, as do the first-rate computer animation that renders the characters into 3-D models and gets the details of feathers and pounding waves spot on. Even a less than savvy audience knows everything that will happen before it does, but Valiant and his pals are so, well, adorable, the ride is worth taking, not the least for John Cleese's voicing of a captured RHPS courier holding his own, sort of, against the evil Nazi falcon (Tim Curry's mellifluously evil tones) using truth serum and au ... The mix of comedy and action drama is well balanced, and the film is an ideal outing for the whole family, with something for littlies, adolescents and adults alike. The outstanding voice cast delivers credible and multi dimensional characters (as far as that's possible under the circumstances). ... Full Review

Valiant is so lacking in distinguishing characteristics, including Mr. McGregor's colorlessly chipper delivery, that he is practically faceless and therefore instantly forgettable. John Cleese is Mercury, a cheeky prisoner of war who runs off at the mouth nonsensically when his falcon captor administers truth serum. ... Full Review

A fairly standard action comedy with an unusual focus, Valiant proves reasonably entertaining. If nothing else, Valiant deserves credit for its unusual subject matter. That said, Valiant offers a reasonable amount of fun. ... Full Review
