a good entertaining movie, not a movie that is common in bollywood. Nowadays there are girls with the domineering personalities expressed in this film and thats wat makes it click as it relates to todays times. Mallilka and ranvir show a couple that share sum sort of relationship and they look gud with each other. The plot: Ranvir is a engineering student who has failed for 4 yrs, he meets mallika at a train station, she is drunk(smashed) and she is falling off the platform where ranvir saves her from an oncoming train. He then takes her to a hotel to which he then is thrown in jail. Nxt morning their phones have switched and they meet up again. She takes him as a friend and they start meeting up, share a friendship relation. She is dominating slaps him all the time and makes him do some bizarre stuff like wear girls clothes/shoes etc. He oves being dominated by her and starts to love her but it isn't reciprocated. She is still hung up on her last boyfriend who has passed away. So she runs away from him, after two yrs he is successful and they meet up unexpectedly. To which they ge married and the bizarre relationship starts over again. Nice movie to watch, maybe with ur partner.

The camera work is good and successfully captured some brilliant shots through its lens. Termed to be a romantic comedy, the film lacks both romantic chemistry between Ugly (Ranvir Shorey) and Pagli (Mallika Sherawat) as well as hilarious punch lines necessary to tickle the laughter bones of the poor audiences who put in their hard earned money to enjoy some relaxing moments away from their mundane daily tension. ... All said, had director Sachin Khot opted for a strong story and backed it up with strong emotions (in the latter part), Ugly Aur Pagli is below par. Ugly Aur Pagli is a bizarre and uncanny title. Music (Anu Malik) is another sore point. ... Full Review
