Had about 20 lines in this film-camera man must be blind-all he could do was zoom in and then out, over and over again. One girl in the office had to stop watching as it made her sick. (From the zooming!!)... Full review

The more-realistic, just-as-frightening "Trigger Man" is even better, a taut-as-a-vise-grip sophomore effort that is significant of anything but a slump.

Bloody-Disgusting
While the 80's jokes are fun (like when she plays "Heart and Soul" on the piano) and entertaining on their own, what's impressive about House of the Devil is....hate it, while West's sophomore effort, Trigger Man , further pushed the divide.....into setting up some great moments in the film -....Devil is a slow-paced thriller that is not meant for those of you who want non-stop action.....are in a state of calm, West's camerawork becomes erratic, violent and intense during the finale act of the film..... ...
