I liked Christian Campbell's performance. Whenever he took deep breaths and looked nervous, I was right there with him. Suddenly I'd feel butterflies in my stomach and I got nervous as well! He acted in a way we can all relate... Full review

The plot was simply superb. Boy meets boy. Boy wants to know boy in an intimate way. Boy is unable to have intimate time with boy because of undesirable friends and evil queens.... Full review

If I can't watch a movie twice, then I consider it lousy. I won't repeat the story summary here; you can read that on the webpage. So, what's wrong with it? Mark isn't that hot for a go-go boy, so he... Full review

As a heterosexual woman I found this movie very entertaining. I thought it was witty, charming and very interesting to see the other side of life. I am not sure but I was turned on by cute boy Christian Campbell who... Full review

I could barely believe Tori Spelling could do such a great job as an actress--exceptional. Steve Hayes was perfection. The two male leads were fascinating. Trick is on the verge of phenominal but just doesn't quite make it. It is still... Full review

Well, a funny story this comedy had. Surely it drags for a while, here and there, but the comedy is there to keep you watching. And a cute love story, no? I mean, it makes you wanna go "awe" mostly! Actors... Full review

Don't get me wrong, the story was great, loved the backdrop of the city, Tori Spelling was great as an off-off-off-off-off Broadway actress, and the guys were hunky and cute. and that's where the downfall was, they were too hunky and... Full review

Initially, the movie seemed to be a generic gay teen movie and I reluctantly rented it. But after the first few minutes, I found out to my surprise that it was funny, spunky, and entertaining. Its the type of movie that... Full review

This is the movie I watch when I need a break from my other depressing ones. Aside from Tori Spelling's atrocious singing (and even that is good for the laugh), there isn't much to not like about this film. I found... Full review

The Movie Boy
A "Trick," indeed, but also a veritable treat. Abandoning the usual topics and hang-ups of most gay-oriented movies, including "coming out" and AIDS, what talented director Fall has done here is given us two gay people who have long-since accepted their sexual orientation, as have all of the other characters around them, and so the movie does not become a serious-minded, so-called "meaningful" movie, but one that immediately centers in and concentrates on the characters themselves and their kinships with e ... their nightlong effort to find a place to be alone turns into one of the best gay comedies in many a moon.....Steve Hayes plays musical-comedy lover and piano-bar habitue Perry, who puts his finger on what's wrong with the uptight Gabe's song:....she's very good at being bad.....She's very funny..... ... Many of the scenes seem to drag on too long, probably the result of first-time director Jim Fall 's reluctance to cut his beloved project.....Christian Campbell 's performance also provides the film with a sympathetic cornerstone:....Alternately hilarious and touching, Trick is not without its problems.....Spelling is aptly annoying as Campbell 's clingy sidekick and Pitoc is suitably hunky as the obscure object of desire.....Trick is saved by screenwriter Jason Schafer's realistic dialogue and moments of f ...
