as in good short story writing -....Shame that Toronto Stories , in its home city, is only playing on a single screen.....is anchored nicely by the solidly understated performance by K.C. Still, Toronto Stories is a movie to be graded on a curve, and it only hints at what these four filmmakers are capable of.
Weaver brings the movie home, spotty results and all, with Lost Boys, in which Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) delivers Toronto Stories best performance, as a homeless man who seeks redemption by saving children from a predator.
