I keep things simple. 13 Conversations is a great little story that shows the interconnectedness among several different people with seemingly nothing to do with each other. It all comes full circle in the end and leaves you with an Ah-ha... Full review

This film is very thoughtful, while being easy to gasp and interesting. There are fourteen different sections, all around ten minutes long, about different outlooks life can seem from different perspectives. The highest and lowest points of each's life are linked... Full review

Some vignettes work better than others and the theatrical dialogue occasionally grates, but this is ambitious, intelligent filmmaking.
Like Magnolia, it uses chance encounters and chain reactions to ponder fate, though Sprecher seems less convinced of an overall pattern.

Sprecher surpasses Tarantino's opus, creating four distinct sets of sympathetic characters and weaving a wonderfully intricate but coherent plot around them.
