Stephen King has done it again with Thinner. A big-shot lawyer isn't watching where he is going when he is driving because...well, watch the movie to get that info, & he hits a gypsy's wife. If he didn't believe in curses... Full review

What it is, is dull.....Robert John Burke certainly fits the bill (he had prominent roles in "Fled," a couple of Hal Hartley's independent productions and starred in "RoboCop III").....There's a sadly dispiriting track record for these adaptations -....There are some enjoyable performances here -....This is particularly problematic with Burke's character, who isn't particularly sympathetic to begin with..... ...
