It's sweet, ok, predictable, but it has a happy ending and I LOVE Helen Hunt. I think she is terribly under-rated as an actress. I also feel she did a wonderful job as director of this film. What's it like to... Full review

A wonderfully moving picture. Very real and certainly deserving of higher rating than depicted. The story is real, the acting is poignant and heartfelt. Hunt, Midler, Broderick & Firth are superb. I watched it two nights in a row. This movie... Full review

Why is it that a good movie, well acted and directed gets almost no attention, when all of the other garbage is making millions? Maybe my taste isn't the norm but I found this movie engrossing. No, there were no car... Full review

Went in expecting great things from this cast and storyteller, but found myself squirming and sighing exasperatedly throughout the entire film. I can't think of one redeeming thing about this film. In my entire movie watching career, I have never found... Full review

I think Helen Hunt is a talented actress( my definition being I recognize her and can still "forget" that I know who she is and still enjoy a movie because the acting, plot, or storyboard is proficient) and I am worried that she looks nothing less than anorexic whether it be from a desire to be thin or other health complication. ... The main problem is one of tone, the movie shifting between pale sitcom humour and sloppy romantic overtures, making for an uneven and unfulfilling experience. Desperate for a baby, she's dumped by her new husband (Matthew Broderick). ... Full Review
