In fact, the main issue facing Fallon won't be any of the most predictable ones - learning to host, to interview, to create ongoing skits that are a hit with viewers - but to sublimate his ego.
Worse, accepting a job as a talk show host is essentially admitting that you're no longer a successful actor.

As the film continues, it devolves into yet another dysfunctional family saga, drenched in forced whimsy and soggy platitudes.
This script problem is exacerbated by the fact that Fallon has no magnetism.
