i absolutely loved this movie--the blend between live-action and animation was well done, the acting good, the plot wonderful and capable of conveying love. rarely do i emotionally resonate with a movie, but i certainly did with this one. recommended.... Full review

An odd, ethereal adaptation of the familiar fairy tale, "The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb" is a bizarre combination of live-action and clay animation to include actors being used in a-frame-at-a-time, stop-motion animated movement. Cockroaches crawl on the walls and floors of filthy rooms, and the human characters are dirty and sweaty and appear quite unhealthy sick, starved, alcoholic or maybe all three. ... Full Review
