This may be a strange thing to say about a story of passion between a priest and a nun, but Stanley Kramer's " The Runner Stumbles " is almost endearingly old-fashioned.
The story, based on a stage play by Milan Stitt, allows the priest and nun to spend a good deal of time discussing the moral implications of their actions.
