If it had that, it would be the perfect action-adventure film. Whatever the reason, catch "The Rundown" and help it gain the cult status it rightly deserves. See it for The Rock, the last truly great action star. ... Full Review

Sporting a plot that's more fitting of a summertime big action/big comedy release, "The Rundown" is a comedic tour-de-force loaded with first-rate performances.....is rated PG-13 for adventure violence and some crude dialogue.....The always impressive Rosario Dawson doesn't get to do as much as her male counterparts.... ... I'm surprised The Rundown didn't do better at the box office, but there isn't a more entertaining lighthearted action flick on HD DVD at the moment, and early adopters eager for some popcorn excitement should put this disc on their short list. Truffaut it's not, but The Rundown is propelled by an infectious amount of energy and enthusiasm, Peter Berg's direction is far more confident and sure-handed than I would've expected for a sophomore feature film effort (a couple of obnoxious stylistic choices aside) ... It wouldnt be difficult to cut out the ha-ha stuff without affecting the overall film, and it would be a better movie for it. He plays it here kind of tounge-in-cheek, and I enjoyed watching him have fun. ... Full Review

I would normally deride the film for being so shallow and unsubstantial....What makes the movie's stylized visuals even more impressive is....See it for the crazy stunts, the Hong Kong inspired wireworks.... ... Full Review

Welcome To The Jungle is by no means an earth shattering film, or a good genre film for that matter.....If I haven't mentioned the great Rosario Dawson ( 25th Hour, Kids, Josie & The Pussycats ) in this review, it's.... ... Full Review

Dawson plays her minor role well, and Walken (who makes any film better by just being a part of it) portrays the wicked Hatcher with all the gusto you'd expect from a veteran actor. The Rock is the action star of the new millennium, and his charismatic presence in "The Rundown" solidifies that. ... Full Review
