Sorvino isn't bad, and brings a glimmer of comedy to her two-fisted cupcake, but this will hardly go down as her finest hour.
Sorvino's character, Meg, is tough as an old boot; she wears a razor blade on a chain around her neck, and can shoot with the best of them.

Still, for all the shooting, yelling and running, I felt I had spent the entire length of The Replacement Killers waiting -- in vain -- for something to happen.
The problem is that the script by Ken Sanzel gives him almost nothing to direct but gun battles -- no romance, no suspense, no character development, and precious little plot.

mix it with a little of Michael Bay's and David Fincher's stark visuals.....The Replacement Killers" offers absolutely nothing new, and even the vibrant present of Chow Yun-Fat isn't enough to offset a droll story of a hitman turned target....Sorvino washing her face in a sink is treated with the same technical overkill as a gun battle in a car wash....in the end, the movie proves to be just another routine action extravaganza.... ... However, though I hadn't seen the film in 8 years and was unable to tell exactly what was new, the film did seem to play better.
Action movies have gotten worse in the years since, and the choppy/shaky factor has grown far more pronounced
