Don't get me wrong, I loved the original and I loved the remake, but this sequel was just unnecessary. The story was mediocre and was just to get money. The acting was awful and seemed like something from a kid who... Full review

This was really a good movie. It had a good storyline and interesting characters. Amy Irving did a good job in her return. It should make you realize not to make fun of people. I liked this movie and think everyone... Full review

It's funny that the only one from the original is Sue Snell. This one has more graphic deaths. I still think the first one is better. It's sad that Sue dies, because she survives the first one. Bring on Carrie 3... Full review

Carrie's half-sister Rachel (Emily Bergl) faces the same torment as Carrie did in the original. The story resembles the first in some ways, but has a different kind of transfer to it. The ending was just like in the first, as... Full review

THE RAGE: CARRIE 2 (1999, 105 minutes): In search of female-friendly horror in the pop-slasher era, Hollywood re-taps the telekinesis well with a return to the community where Carrie deep-fried the prom sum 20 years ago.
Her best gal pal ( Mena Suvari ) leaps off a building after giving up her virginity to Zachery Ty Bryan of TV's "Home Improvement.

In fact, she tries to pretend it's all in her head, but her guidance counselor -- Amy Irving, back as Carrie's best friend, 23 years later -- knows a telekinetic wonder when she sees one.
Screen newcomer Emily Bergl plays her as unfazed and unimpressed, but with a burning need to connect lying just beneath the surface.

But it doesn't stink either.....A likable group of young actors, inventive death scenes, a good storyline and proper pacing make this film worthwhile, at least for horror-movie aficionados.....But the sequel lacks the human element that made the audience both sympathize with and abhor the young anti-hero of the original.....there are some very cool mutilation scenes for gore lovers..... ... It's a revenge based on blind passion and baseless hatred -- Carrie didn't do anything.
But Carrie is one of a batch of true horror movies that gets to you on a deeper level than a basic shock and gross-out.
