One of the better comedies from the Walt Disney Studios in the past several years has been the Pacifier. If Arnold Schwarzenegger can manage kindergarten, than Vin Diesel can certainly babysit a whole family of a scientist who's been killed under... Full review

The Pacifier delivered a clean and wholesome movie for the entire family. Rarely do I find movies that all the kids (ages 5-10 and parents) can enjoy together. Would recommend it to any family.... Full review

Vin Diesel portray's Shane Wolfe a former Navy Seal registered in the ranks of a K-1902 Military Co-op under the ranks of Patriot Steel McMurphy. His specialty in the Co-op is re-synthesizing the 708 Zaxxon, infused Missiles and has military intelligence.... Full review

This is a good family film and one that most children can handle. Diesel makes his first foray into the family film an enjoyable one to watch. Pop the popcorn and settle in for a fun night with the family because The Pacifier is in the house. ... Full Review

Half of the film is spent reaching, and becomes border-line desperate at times. One of the funniest parts, though, is after Vin Diesel teaches a girl scout troop martial arts to take on the opposing boy scout troop of bullies. ... Full Review

The plot is a simple one, full of opportunity for clever comedy, exciting action and tender, family drama.....I suspect their meddling created its fair share of the movie's fatal flaws.....There's a fine line between great comedy and lame absurdity.....Family films don't have to be this painful.....Sadly enough, the redemption of The Pacifier comes in the form of its DVD release..... ... Okay, the story itself was full of plot holes you could drive a truck through; all the elements of the story seemed designed by watching every other "action hero saves the day with the kids"; and the mighty Vin Diesel showed just about as much charisma with kids as I have but it was far from a bad movie. ... Worse, the plot takes up an hysterical war-on-terror theme that would be comic if it werent so pathetic. The imagethe kids and the extraordinarily attentive principal, waiting in the living room for Shanes return, all holding their nosessays precious little about the film, which has nowhere to go now, though it does suggest something about the state of Diesels career, also looking quite stalled. ...
