It might have been a whole lot sillier, but Dodgeball is a much better film than this one.
But it's not nearly enough to rescue The Mysteries of Pittsburgh from its ceaseless deluge of trite dialog, obvious plot turns, ridiculously contrived developments, and endlessly familiar "coming of age" tropes.
