The Mexican , which takes its title from the name of the historical gun at the center of the plot, is a sometimes funny, sometimes exciting, comedy/thriller/road trip flick that you might be glad you saw. Once we've seen Roberts throw Pitt's clothes out on the street with the words 'if you get on that plane you'll never see me again' The Mexican happily splits its expensive star duo up and doesn't reunite them until the film's final act.
