I was expecting the worst being a Cena (the wrestler) hater, but I have nothing bad to say of John Cena the actor. If you happen to need a movie to rent, give this one a shot, it's a decent action... Full review

Stumbled upon this movie on HBO, and decided to watch. What a waste of time. The script was horrible, dialogue was horrible and acting was even worse. Nothing in this movie made sense, and it looked like it was put together... Full review

Much like in the film, the movie The Marine needs to be dishonorably discharged. The Disc: The disc for The Marine holds there are tons of extras, but none of them are really desirable and they even get to the point that you start seeing the same clips and hearing the same sound bites over and over again. ... One of the all-time worst movies I've ever seen. I like action, but this was just way-beyong believeable. The acting was horrible, the script writing even worse! One thing that annoyed the hell out of me was the soundtrack. There is CONSTANT music for ANYTHING in the movie. Someone drops a pen, and some cheesy soundtract comes in. It was too loud and the music itself seemed like it was from the 80's. The only thing I enjoyed about this movie was the codedy it generated that was not intended. Such cheesy lines. OMG, doesn't anyone hear what they're telling these actors to say? Like a bad made-for-tv movie. But worse.
