The picture is far livelier than the standard literary biopic.....costume pictures often lack.....This is the actor's best performance to date.....Kerry Condon as his love interest has just the right skeptical, earthy spirit.....Because of her eloquent performance.... ... Full Review

The main problem with The Last Station is that the movie -....This comes through well in the movie's strong conclusion....Bulgakov is too frustratingly non-committal to ground the film, which really has no center..... ... Full Review
