as a chinese immigrant, i feel this movie has nothing to do with chinese culture. Everything relates to Chinese curlture in this movie is created by Tan's sterotype imagination.... Full review

What I love about this story is the generational relationships of grandmother, mother and daughter and family relations i.e. sisters, cousins, in-laws is what is it's about. I was touched by the wisdom of the elders and how relationships were mother/daughter... Full review

I did't really like it that much because it was a bit awful I hadto walk out it was that bad I hope your other movies are so awful like this one. I had to pay $8 just to see that... Full review

The movie is fairly realistic when compared to other legends that have been adapted into movies by Disney. Ming-wa, who did a superb job playing the lead in Buena Vista´s "The Joy Luck Club", gives Mulan a sense of sophistication, playfulness, and gumption. ... Full Review
