Michael should have not made Romancing, but here is better. A silly ending and voila, you get this sequel. A better first half and a not so good second half, is what this movie shows. Its good but almost wasted for... Full review

I have given this movie a 7/10 because, taken on its own merits, it is just a delightful movie to watch. It's funny, although the slapstick sometimes is a little over done; but good wins out over evil, and leaves... Full review

The sequel to romancing the stone is rather disappointing. The plot is shallow, humour is dry, and the whole atmosphere of the first is just not there.I wish those responsible for its production could see that and realize that this was... Full review

This is a worthy sequel to "Romancing the Stone", although not as polished, with the featured actors already a little stilted after the first outing. It is probably significant that the following 15 years have not yet seen a further... Full review

You watch this movie to enjoy its three principal actors and the fun they had working together that is easily conveyed to the audience. The joke regarding Al-Julhara being the Jewel of the Nile wears thing after a couple viewings and his character comes off as a likable buffoon and not as a clown as he did when I was younger. ... The Picture I'll get the bad news out of the way first: Jewel has a great many nighttime and otherwise dark scenes which, as on the Romancing the Stone Blu-ray, are artifacty but perhaps even more so here. The compression artifacting mixes with film grain to add a layer of unwelcome digital distraction to the 2.35:1 image. ... Full Review

This one has less Chick Flick and actually suffers for it. The sequel missed the mark set by the original film. Sure, there are some good action sequences and comedy bits. Fox did a great job remastering the movie. ... Full Review
