I'm so sick of films that bring in gay issues for the sake of just throwing it into the film. This isn't Brokeback Mountain and it has no place in this film. It's just tossed in and this is happening to... Full review

I saw this on the plane and wanted to jump out. The story was predictable and boring. The acting was like bad TV acting. The directing was obvious. The really sickening thing about this film is its very conception. Avoid. Better... Full review

Then again, my wife also thought "The Jane Austen Book Club" was a little on the slick-and-syrupy side: a passably decent film, but not one to get too excited about.
