There are some wild visuals in this flick, but that's about all it has going for it. Sci-fi fans might want to take a look, but everyone else would be better off watching Star Wars for the 50 thousandth time.... Full review

While not as good as the original, it does have some new special effects that are worth noting. The fact that Brando played the 'good Dr." is amazing but then again, he was always one for the outlandish.... Full review

THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU stars Marlon Brando as Dr. Moreau, a brilliant geneticist who has taken his work to a level where no one else has dared to go.
While the latest film version of THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU ($25) isnt the best adaptation of the H.G. Wells tale, it remains intriguing for Stan Winstons outstanding special effects work and Marlon Brandos bizarre performance.
