The Incredible Hulk ( Universal Studios , 2008) - Derided as it was for the cartoony monster and psychobabble-driven plot, at least Ang Lee 's 2003 "Hulk" made some bold choices and showed some story-telling ambition. Besides Norton, lots of other talent is wasted, including Liv Tyler , Tim Roth and William Hurt (who apparently plays only bad guys these days). ... Full Review

While the film works better without that opening, it's a nice Easter egg. Most of the deleted scenes bring more humanity to Bruce Banner, Norton's character who, when angry or excited, turns into the green monster the incredible Hulk. ... Full Review

This scene really gave the characters a human feel, that there was more to the creature than just being big and strong and really went a long way to helping develop the characters as humans. Picture and sound quality are flat-out perfect for a standard def release....I'll say this, though, Universal's two-disc special edition of The Incredible Hulk is impressive.....The deleted scenes are also extremely decent....while the commentary track by director Leterrier and co-star Tim Roth (for those who still haven't seen it, lets just call his roll in the film an Abomination - and I don't mean that in a bad way) is actually quite engaging.....Well, for one thing, as good as Norton is he still has abs ... One of the better comic book movie adaptations, comes to DVD and looks great. Marvel was very worried that after the perceived failure of the first film, the Incredible Hulk might be a difficult sale. Roth is surprisingly informative as well. ... Full Review

Judging from what they had to say, it's not looking good for the video game-inspired flick. According to the review, the action is a let down, the cast is wasted, and most of the film rides a fine line of creepy and offensive (if you don't believe me, you can read the full review here ). ... As we learn countless times during the DVD presentation, there was almost an hour of material cut from the original Incredible Hulk release. Historically, both Hulk and The Incredible Hulk will be viewed as decent, dependable hits, with the latter satisfying the all important nerd contingent. ... Full Review

But the film stops short of working through the problem. But right now, as he's not quite strapped down to a lab table, his eyes flashing and his temper a-flare, appears an especially opportune moment for him to be able to hear her. ... Full Review
