That is the beauty of this movie.....I just had to know the ending.Olivia De Havilland stars as Catherine Sloper in the title role of this classic black and white movie as The Heiress.....A very talented and gifted actress, she soon wished to be cast in more meaty roles....However, Miss De Havilland walked away with the Oscar for Best Actress for her stellar performance in The Heiress.....Olivia was nominated for an Academy Award as best supporting actress for that role..... ...
