horrorfanatic Pleantly Brilliant!

For ages I have been wanting to watch this film so one day I come home from school and noticed my mum had bought it for me! However I didn't excpect it to be as good as it is! The Grudge is one of the scariest films i've seen the shocks are proffesionally goven and the creepy atmosphere is brilliant, it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way throught. THE STORY! It is all about a house that has a curse left behind of a woman and a child, whoever enters the house can walk out of it (when they're lucky) but the curse will always come after you. This follows the charecter Karen (Sarah Michelle Gelleur) who is poorly acted and who trys to escape it! Highly reccomended but not for the fint hearted!
The worst movie ever...

This was a poor spin off of The Ring...several story lines that never came together. Have no idea what the cat was about! Plus it held you in suspense until it wasn't scary anymore. Don't pay money to see this movie...if... Full review

This film was NOT scary. It was comical. I laughed through half of it, and so did much of the audience. Did the people on this board see a different movie? Were there alternative versions? The story was lackluster, the acting... Full review

Honestly, folks, this movie was an abysmal disappointment. People were actually laughing it was so bad. The movied relied almost exclusively on loud jolts to scare the audience, which not ONCE worked on me. If the movie wasn't shot in Japan,... Full review

"The Grudge" is one of the scariest, most stylish US horror films in years. Director Shimizu, scriptwriter Stephen Susco, and producers Raimi and Taka Ichise, have done an incredible job of converting the J-horror smash hit "Ju-on" into a film that... Full review

I've been waiting a few weeks for this movie to come out, it looked pretty cool, really it wasn't bad aside from the fact that half of it was in japanese, the story was almost impossible to follow, and it made... Full review

While many of you may be looking for Oscar caliber performances from your former Cult TV Goddess, this film was certainly not written to cater to any one character. It was made to scare the audience. I, for one, actually SAW... Full review

I really don't think there is any other way to say how truly awful this movie is. There is no story, crappy effects, not a single scare, dragged out, and the time swutches back and forth repetitvely. Why dis this movie... Full review
