Perhaps that's why Mark Leiren-Young's debut feature The Green Chain is so impressive.....It addresses every facet of the British Columbia forestry industry from an intimately personal perspective without self-imploding or spinning fatuous propaganda in all directions.....the delivery is undeniably urbane, which leaves The Green Chain feeling more like a thoughtful exercise instead of a gut-wrenching and immediate drama..... ...
