From the commercials it seemed like a funny lite movie about a family trying 2 give someone a hard time. After seeing the movie it was the opposite. It had a lot more meaning, and though it wasnt the feel good... Full review
A nice holiday treat

The story felt like a smorgasbord of ideas that was a bit hard to swallow at times, but the acting was terrific, especially Diane Keaton, Luke Wilson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Overall, the movie was a nice holiday treat that reminded... Full review

I went to see this movie with my wife yesterday. Neither of us liked it. The story packed so many unusual pieces into this one "typical" family under one roof, the stability and credibility of any typical "family" were simply missing.... Full review
Some Interesting Twists for The Family Stone

Overall, this movie was good. I enjoyed the characters immensely. I spent most of the movie feeling very sorry for Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Meredith, because they are so unaccepting of her. This movie puts you on a rollercoaster ride right... Full review

This film had the most awkward moments of any film I have seen. It makes you uncomfortable as a viewer and is non-traditional in films today. Get past that and you are rewarded with an intense and emotional ending. Do not... Full review
