Let's all admit why we're excited to see "The Expendables" in spite of its PG-13 rating and borderline-fanboy crafting:....But they still take a lot of work and it's great to see director/star Sylvester Stallone so energetic even....It may be wrong to hope for a big dumb fun action movies....Stallone doesn't seem to have any problems about delivering that.... ... Or it will affirm a Statham/Li curse, which will at least save Flopz™-grade genre-flick mills the trouble of bothering again in the future. Even with born-again genre slut Sir Ben Kingsley rumoured to have an eye on the project, it's not necessarily unfair to calculate the sum of these parts as "clusterfuck": Guided by Stallone both in front of and behind the camera, a gang of mercenaries heads off to South America to take down a ruthless dictator. ...
