Whether one prefers Infernal Affairs or The Departed , the latter stands on the former's shoulders.....Infernal Affairs made the fundamental mistake, common among foreign films, of being in a foreign language.....Because not only is The Departed not among the best of Scorsese's films;....it's not even the best version of this film.....Because, Nicholson's sexual theatrics aside, The Departed is a highly entertaining movie--just not a great one..... ... Luckily for him the American appetite for excellent horror flicks took this horror flick straight to the top....Films such as "The Lake House", "My Sassy Girl", " The Ring", and "The Departed" are remakes of the great Korean film production industry.....coming film project is his favorite director Na Hong-jin, the director of the hit "The Chaser".....Lee is quoted suggesting that had things gone the other way his career might had come to an incredible ending in a recent interview..... ...
