There is no more timely film than this, a murder/mystery blended with a mild romance. Simply put, the US is at war with the Arabs while a US oil firm seeks to purchase Russian oil assets in Kazikistan. A wall street... Full review

I don't know what some reviewer posted about how the plot is too confusing. You don't see people complaining about Memento or The Usual Suspects, plots that are 3x more confusing. I thought the plot was interesting (not muddled or confusing)... Full review
Director Harvey Kahn was completely deprived of any inspiration in bringing to screen this political thriller story, happening in the corridors of the big corporate companies dealing with dirty oil deals, in a close but probable future where the western world... Full review

This movie was like a forced sitting through a Vogon poetry reading....except much, much worse. Don't believe the flowery reviews, that one can only expect, are coming from those less than objective. This movie attempts to tie in the conspiracy plots... Full review

This movie plays out more like a 'made for TV' flick. It does raise some interesting points however, especially in light of todays OIL crunch situation.... Full review

The film's storyline is almost impossible to follow, in part because there are so many gaping holes. Character relationships aren't developed at all, so one is often left wondering why the characters are behaving the way that they do. The visuals... Full review

You know what? The only reason why I saw this movie was because of Christian Slater and his sidekick, well, in the movie, Selma Blair. Slater has been in the great recent movies, such as Howl's Mving Castle and Batman Begins.... Full review
