A more serious approach would have added greater depth, making it a great film.....However, since we have seen both these actors perform similar roles countless times, their performances fail to excite us.....Tender moments like this make the film worth watching.....The Bucket List is directed by Rob Reiner, who sadly, has not tried to bring out exciting performances from two great actors..... ... The Bucket List is not a film that will wow anyone visually, but it is full of bright colors and inky blacks captured perfectly by this transfer.
The high definition transfer also exposes the awful chroma key effects used in the film; so don't scrutinize them too closely.

Video & Audio Originally released at 1.85:1, Warner's 1080p transfer of The Bucket List is a basically flawless 1.78:1 transfer, as well it should be.
Parting Thoughts Utterly predictable but enjoyable*, at just 92 minutes not counting the end credits (curiously, there are no opening titles at all) The Bucket List thankfully doesn't try to stretch its slight, unbelievable but moderately amusing story.

The Bucket List is an odd duck of a film, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It's all handled seamlessly, however, aided by a really nicely understated score by Marc Shaiman.
