The director's flow and the actor's marvelous performance make for a memorable and rather dark movie.....Yet another scene is the sleazy motel.....I loved this movie.It's accurate stylistic rendition of film-noir makes this a great addition to old classics like The Maltese Falcon.....I admit that it does add to the gritty nature of film as well as tie the story together, yet it seemed....With the addition of a witty and brilliantly written script, The Black Dahlia makes for quite a choice film..... ...
