This had all the makings of an absurdly wonderful movie (just the way I like 'em).....a talky, character-driven movie lacking a sharply constructed plot.....if the performances are strong and the dialogue crisp....Allison Bibikoff is notably bad as Franco's bitchy boss.....Lastly, it's the directorial debut of James Franco ("Spider-Man," "Freaks and Geeks"), one of the best young actors in the business..... ...
