The acting here is somewhat of the low point of the film but nothing the actors do wrong is as cringe-worthy as what is done to some of them.
Some of the characters are written a little too one-dimensional as well, which is unfortunate but for such a small film not very surprising.

What could have been a cheap exploitive movie is a well done black comedy with lots to say about society and basic human fears.
While it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, Teeth did not disappoint.

Teeth is far from a masterpiece, but it is so off the wall it is something interested moviegoers should definitely check out.
The film is an origin story of sorts that would lend itself well to a Teeth franchise, which could go the way of such comedic horrors as the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise in its own twisted fashion.

And boy, does she deserve it.The thing that really strikes you about Teeth is the way it juggles genres.

Teeth" is mildly entertaining in places -- you can't beat a bloodied, disembodied penis for grim laughs -- but it's not nearly as deep or as thought-provoking as Lichtenstein clearly intends it to be.
Teeth" hinges on one strong idea but doesn't know quite where to take it, wobbling awkwardly between going for laughs and making its semi-delineated points.
