The laughs come fast and hilarious

My only fear before going into this movie was that ALL of the funny parts were spoiled by the trailers and commercials that I've seen. I'm happy to say that there were more jokes than I expected. Will Farrell is hilarious!... Full review

I personally found Anchorman hilarious and I laughed even more throughout this one, this movie supplies one liners that will probably be quoted by your friends for about the next year, I highly recommend you see this movie and prepare to... Full review

I loved this movie, but it is for an adult audience only. The movie has near constant profanity, crude humor, sexual references, drug references, and more comments about the male sex organs than I've seen in a while. There is also... Full review

I hate to say this but this movie isn't bad. In fact, most of it is downright hilarious. The only negatives are profanity, drug and alcohol abuse, and sexual content. It really pushes the PG-13 envelope and is inappropriate for kids.... Full review
Dumb but entertaining racing comedy

In Talladega Nights, Will Farrell and Jon C. Reilly head a nicely assembled cast (without a lot of star power) in a story about a fool who happens to be a race car driver and who has based his entire... Full review

Taladega Nights was a very........ well there is no adjective for this movie, except funny (in a very sick sort of way). There was just to much gay in the movie. Every other word sounded like they were saying something about... Full review

Two summers ago, Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay teamed up for Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, the best display of improvisational comedy on screen since Christopher Guest (Best in Show, A Mighty Wind) entered the scene. This summer,... Full review

This movie does something that is rarely done successfully done, pokes fun at the modern NASCAR circuit. Without detailing all the gags, this is pure fun which doesn't offend the tastes too often. Will Farrell is patently absurd as Ricky... Full review
Could have (should have) been much, much better.

I really wanted to like this movie. It's obvious that Will Ferrell is a talented comedian; his work on Saturday Night Live, his supporting roles in Old School and Wedding Crashers and portions of Anchorman are all very funny. However, Ferrell... Full review

Film Threat, Hollywood's Indie V
Bobby and his family/friends are the only idiots in this movie, making it seem like all racing fans are cultured sophisticates by comparison. In this one, he plays Ricky Bobby (yes, someone makes the two first names joke early on), a dull-witted young man who grows up with dreams of high speed glory. ... Full Review

So, good ol' Ricky Bobby is primed for his comeuppance, which occurs both on the track and on the home front, when his marriage hits the skids. The perfect tonic to this summer's bloated, special effects-driven extravaganzas, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby crosses the finish line with flying colors. ... Full Review

A personal favorite: after selling advertising space on his windshield, Ricky laments, This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient! After a mid-race replacement puts Ricky in the drivers seat at a NASCAR event, Ricky quickly becomes the hottest driver the sport has to offer. The set-up whizzes by us all too quickly, content with skipping over the details and getting us right to the premise, which is, simply, Will Ferrell as a big, dumb, redneck NASCAR driver. ...
