Ta ra rum pum Lessons learnt: Never marry a Sports Man! Never go against your parents’ wishes and marry only when they allow. Never lose contact with near and dear ones – you never know when you might require them – and near & dear ones can only be parents ! The fear of having to give up a good environment ,culture, status and elite society is so clear to even children nowadays – good for them – at least they will not make this wrong decision that their forefathers/ancestors made by marrying a pauper or the maid’s daughter or that category etc. …seen in movies like Saleem Anarkali to KKKG!! A rich boy turns into a scavenger because of absolutely dumb pair of parents !The mother could have gone to her rich father and not made her children suffer like paupers !! What an idiotically dumb thing to do – her ego was greater that her own children’s happiness? ! And while ransacking the dustbin for some grub, the boy swallows a piece of glass and was about to die when his father wins the car race and everything is saved ! This happens only in movies – in real life the boy would have died and the girl would have grown up to be a drug addict plus a pick up girl – since she had a taste of riches and luxuries – she would have definitely taken up prostitution in her teenage itself to lead a comfortable life which she had lost during her childhood. Such blokish parents are actually responsible for bringing up children in most contradictory situations and counseling them all the time with lies ,lies and only lies ! Rani even steals buns and pastries from a party to feed her hungry children but refuses to take the fifty thousand cheque from her father ! This is yet another aspect shown in movies. If you are rich, you don’t have time for your children so they run away with some / any loser/become a drug addict/rapist/wasteful bloke . And if you are poor, your children will ask you what /why have you done whatever you have done – thus they become bitter / join some terrorist group or under world Don to make quick money /become Item girl etc!! Thus movies try to prove that no matter what – parents are failures actually !…are they wrong? There is a scene - that the apartment they shift in – after leaving their plush and opulent Bunglow - has no water ! So they go to a nearby fountain – sing and take a bath ! In India if such a thing had happened – initially some people would have collected around the fountain to see the wet T-shirt of Rani – trying to catch a glimpse of her teats through her wet T-Shirt and some people would have even wondered when the fair looking daughter would develop her breasts so that they could have a time of their lives watching her bathe in open air ! Later some Traffic Police would have called the Municipal Corporation chap and the entire family would have found itself behind the bars for dirtying public property ! Then Saif lies to his colleagues – fellow Taxi Drivers - about his daughter’s ill health and collects money to pay the school fees !Gosh!! I really pity such children born to Idiot parents – they themselves lead a sad / sour life and later, when they grow up – they see to it that the rest of the world also suffers the way they have!! Thus such girls become Pick-up girls, whores and Prostitutes and ruin the simple dreams of girls born and brought up in decent ,educated and cultured families ! You see its not the fault of the men entirely – lets take an example of Follywood vs. all other kinds of jobs. In a movie the characters playing the role of fathers, brothers, uncles husbands etc. are not actually that – isn’t it? But they get to hug the Heroine or other ‘extra’ because the scene requires it – So? When a taut, firm breasted Heroin or ‘extra’ falls or clings by the neck of the hero or any other male character – all other men who watch this scene know very well what a good time the male actor is having !Thus they become jealous – jealous of the fact that even at ripe old age the film actors are hugging, kissing and fondling young taut girls but they are stuck up with the same old woman they married 20 or 30 years ago !And on top of all that – these very actors are worshipped and admired by one and all !! So? Why on earth should they stick to the ideals of Shri Rama !?why be a ‘one woman man’ when women themselves swoon at the sight of the same male actor who is happily ‘humping’ around not only in ‘screen life’ but also in real life (thanks to the film magazines that we come to know of every move of the actors!). Thus folks, chastity and loyalty is speedily finishing and we all are proceeding towards the Satanic life style – ‘hump and jump with anyone and then dump the unwanted mongrel in some orphanage’ ! The children brought up in orphanages can never truly feel ‘love’ because they work from day one – or else they will not get their grub ! Thus Demon King Satan (eg. Ravana,Kamsa,Jarasand and their kinds) sees to it that humans don’t experience ‘Love’ but stay in ‘lust’ forever ! And it is for this reason that there are many satanic couples giving birth to Item Girls/unloved-throw away boys who will later take up the job of pimps and terrorists …. so that the ‘Satanic caravan’ can continue unhindered !!

Ta Ra Rum Pum is predictable but also invigorating A feel-good film in English and Hindi (with subtitles) that's stuffed with extended-but-exciting car chases, lavish dance numbers, not-so-subtle moral lessons, and a meandering plot, it's sweet but somehow not saccharine. ... Full Review

Sweet and instantly catchy, the song has good rendition by Shaan and especially Mahalakshmi Iyer who does well in singing as per the style required for a feel-good film like Ta Ra Rum Pum.
