Sur - The Melody of Life

a unique movie, it's has one outstanding tune 'aa bhi jaa' absolutely beautiful tune. This film is under rated and deserves more recognition than it had got. The film is about vikram who is a famous singer and teacher. He notices Tina's talent when singing in church and takes her to his school. Here she knows nothing but singing and is less educated than the other. But her singing makes up for all this. When a contract dealer hears her music, they get attracted to it and vikram gets jealous. He is jealous of her quick success and how she can compose better songs then him. So he steals one of her songs 'aa bhi jaa' for his album, and she gets upset and runs away to be a nun. He then realises his mistake and encourages her to come bck. There is an inkling of love brewing between vikram and tina but he vikram knows it is wrong. Vikram calls for a concert, for which him and tina will be playing, on the day he doesn't turn up and she sings all alone. Her performance was imaculate and she was flooded with satrdom. Vikram's job is done and lets her go to be a star. Lovely movie and would recommend if you have the time
