And it is awful.....then they break away and seem to suffocate without the net of SNL 's rotating pool of talented writers and performers.....Otherwise, it's a painful film that walks boldly through cliches....Dratch falls in love with a 20-year-old guy personified in the film by his bright blue hat, killer abs, and lack of dialogue..... ... As mentioned, this is a pretty flat film visually, so there's not much here to blow away HD enthusiasts.....the shooting style is as rote and unimaginative as your average single-camera TV comedy, with the flat-footedness of a late John Landis movie.....it was a terribly uneven film that didn't have enough laughs.....it's stocked to the gills with talented comic actors.....that's too heavy a burden for a script like this one to carry..... ... I like the movie enough to recommend it....The DVD offers erratic picture, average audio and lackluster supplements.....Both films enjoy similar themes....the movie's not afraid to grasp onto truer emotions.....The sound was acceptable for a comedy of this sort..... ... Full Review

Also of note from the collection was Knife Point, which was a really well done thriller that looked as good as any movie at the fest. This one was a wicked piece of pure film goodness and definitely one I will check out again. ... Full Review
