I am not saying don't see this movie, I actually enjoyed it for what it was.....Ashton Kutcher, Anne Heche, the beautiful Margarita Levieva and many other familiars.....So what is the movie about, well the short of it is this, Nikki (played very well by Ashton Kutcher) is a man-whore!....Spread brings a lot to the table in a pretty unknown movie with a well known cast of actors.....The story is well told, the acting is on par and Anne Heche is a complete knockout in this film..... ... Predictable tale with Kutcher as gigolo....Spread builds towards an impressive climax when Nikki inadvertently falls for a capricious, hard-to-impress sideliner, the diner waitress Heather (Margarita Levieva).....hints at moral awakening and acquired wisdom, he, along with the three other main characters in this eerily claustrophobic film, are so thinly drawn....It's hard to like either of these sexual predators, despite director David Mackenzie's efforts to show them in the best possible light -.... ... The movie's lurking Puritanism is evidenced by the difference between Nikki's explicit scenes with Samantha and his encounters with Heather.....But despite twitches of insight into its characters and their world, "Spread" refuses go more than skin deep..... ... Full Review

except for his shirt, Kutcher remains dressed, a hypocrisy of many films like this.....Befitting this kind of story, the film is stylishly shot by Steven Poster....For this kind of film to work, it's necessary to like or at least feel sympathy for the characters.....though it is loaded with a pretty good soundtrack of pop tunes, probably intended as another selling point.....the rest of the story is utterly predictable..... ...
