So he takes a pretty cheesy Hollywood film called Cellular, and rehashes it into the unwatchable Speed. He actually tries to come up with some plot innovations like the conspiracy Spare yourself the trouble - catch the original Cellular on a movie channel, if you really have to that is. ... Full Review

Technically, the film wears a B grade look; the editing is tacky and the cuttings are not precise. The basic problem with this thriller is that it is hardly a thriller. The director needed to rein in the actors for a better form. ... Full Review

The best part about SPEED is that the story keeps moving with every reel. That's because the fact remains that SPEED does find it's roots in CELLULAR but then grows further to get some more interesting twists in the tale with an additional screenplay that would surprise even those who have seen CELLULAR. ...
