When this film is good it's astonishing Speed Racer's arrival on DVD is also neatly timed following Lewis Hamilton's sensational arrival at the youngest Formula 1 champion in history and will be best appreciated by eight to 10-year-old boys. ... Full Review

If it hadn't been a mockery of a classic anime, Speed Racer might not have been a bad film. I've always thought Christina Ricci to be beautiful, but her face looked faker than Emile Hirsch's hair in this movie. ... Full Review
